Went to this place for the first time with my wife and child for breakfast. I got the big breakfast, my wife got a bacon, egg and mushroom breakfast while our child got raisin toast. My wife found a big wirey hair in her overcooked egg. While my big breakfast was very underwhelming, with overcooked egg, microwaved rubbery sausages, microwaved baked beans in a cup on the side and stale toast. We also found the place overpriced.With a place with so many good reviews, we thought we'd give it a try. Never again. At least we know now that many of you people that gave this place such a good review, really can't cook and don't know what value for money is.
Absolutely delightful place to stop and have a coffee or meal. Beautiful inside or outside in the gardens, with ponds, pathways to explore or you can say howdy to the water dragons that roam around the grounds.
The water dragons are a great hit with my grandson. Nursery??? Gifts- same/usual stuff looks like imported. A couple of hand made knitted products. Nothing out of the ordinary. Some where different to have a nice meal.
A lovely spot, but watch out for the lizards, I thought one was going to run up my leg. Good food and great atmosphere.
This is our all time favourite cafe. The setting, the amazing food, the friendly staff and perfect location just makes this little place shine! We have been regulars for 6 years now and we can't go past the savoury mince eggs benny & homemade icecream with pancakes - just divine!
